Alamo Drafthouse files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, lines up sale
Austin-based theater chain Alamo Drafthouse filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection March 3 as part of a sale to senior lenders. The company plans to continue operations at most of its theaters, though three locations will close permanently — including one in Austin.
