After winding international road, Astros’ Tayler Scott becomes U.S. Citizen
|
Houston Astros pitcher Tayler Scott found red, white and blue streamers hanging from his locker in the clubhouse on Tuesday. The decor was to congratulate the right-handed reliever from Johannesburg, South Africa, who became a U.S. citizen after passing his final exam on Monday morning. "When I came home, my wife had a cake out and decorated the place with American flag stuff," Scott said. Scott is the second person from the Houston Astros to become a U.S. citizen in the past two years. Last year, Astros catching coach Michael Collins, who is from Australia, also earned his U.S. Citizenship. submitted by /u/chrondotcom |
