After that strange game I’d like to hear what a successful season looks like to y’all

So obviously a strange game. 3 quarters of good football by the Texans and one quarter of not good. So I’m curious with this being year 2 of the rebuild what a successful season looks like to you and how today fit into your idea.

Obviously the hardass answer is a super bowl but being realistic here.

For me I’m looking for bright spots, some spots in the team we can legitimately build on. Whether that’s a good defense, great running game, great passing game. Just one facet of the game where next offseason we can say okay here’s our strength that we can count on next year let’s focus on these weaknesses.

As for today well. Honestly I was okay with the defense. They got gassed in the 4th quarter when the offense stalled and was turning the ball over but not a bad game in my opinion. The running game did not really look good so that was concerning. Of course the big thing we all are looking at is Mills. Mills was very inconsistent, some good stuff for sure but also some costly misses on throws and reads. He took good care of the ball though, there was the fumble but it really looked like he was down to me idk if there was a better angle I didn’t see.

What does a successful season look like to you and what does an unsuccessful season look like to you?
