Affordable safe parts of Houston?

I’m looking for a safe place to raise a child that is also relatively affordable, currently looking at spring but it’s a little too far from my future work in channel-view. I’m moving from WA state in approx 6 months. So far I’ve thought about Spring, Humble, Crosby, and Baytown. Any insight would be super appreciated
