Affordable apartments in a nice area for couple planning a move?

Hello! My SO and I are planning to move to Houston this summer. Ideally, I’d like to live in the midtown/downtown area but I’m flexible. Im looking to spend no more than $1500/month. Do you all have any suggestions?
