Advice on issue with apartment

Not sure if it’s the right place to post it here, but we’re currently renting an apartment and have rented for about a year now at Domain Apartments on Kirby. Tonight we had an issue where a group of people received keys that gave access to our apartment unit directly from the front office, and who initially refused to leave. Am I to overreact to consider this to be a huge safety issue? Is there any action I can take regarding this event?
