Advice on gas bill from landlord

Does this sound like a reasonable gas bill for a 1,000 square foot house? The gas is the only utility that is in my landlord’s name. These numbers seem unreasonably high considering a rarely use my heater during the winter.

Should I ask to see the meter readout?
