Activities for a 12-year old boy who’s in town for a week?

My 12-year old nephew will be staying with us for about a week, beginning tomorrow (Thurs.). I’m looking for some things we can do together besides going to NASA and the various museums (done all that already). He’s a foodie, so I’ll try to find a cooking class and take him a few places for Restaurant Week next week. He’s from a small rural community, so maybe we’ll check out city stuff like Williams Tower & the downtown tunnels. We’ll likely see Top Gun at a Star Cinema Grill. We may try an Astros game next week. (It would be cool to go on a tour of Minute Maid.) This is all I can come up with myself right now. I’d like to come up with some things he’d find really cool. I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions!
