Activities/clubs for elderly in their 60’s?

Good evening fellows Houston Redditors. So my mom lives with me and she is retired. She is in her 60's and she is getting bored at times (I work most of the day). Other than a church, which other activities/clubs/hobbies would you recommend? She is a very social person. We are in the east side, but I don't mind driving so she can have some social activities.
