accredited driving schools (drivers that are over 25)

hello all!

i'm 29, but i've never had a driver's license. i've lived in houston for 4 years without one or a car. i don't plan on getting a car, but i need to have a license in case of emergency.

are there any recommendations for driver's schools that include an accredited driver instructor that can do the driving exam as well (so that all i have to do is take that to the DPS & get a permanent license)?

anything as close to midtown as possible would be a plus!
