Abbott touts Texas’ tax system, relaxed regulations after another Governor’s Cup win

No one even came close to catching Texas in the 2022 Governor’s Cup rankings by Site Selection magazine for total capital investment projects. The latest award comes at the same time that some say the death of a controversial incentives program has left the state without a key economic development tool.
