a silly man.
Hello there, r/houston. I dont really use reddit often, but i figured this would be the best place to ask.
I am a guy in my early 20s, moved here from another state a while back. i’ve just been working and haven’t made any friends whatsoever, my only source of interaction is either at work or meeting people from tinder for fun (heh).
The question is, how does one “go out?” what are the fun things to do in houston late at night? I live near the spring area.
I have never been clubbing before, or to a bar, ever. I want to break into the scene and maybe get to know people there, but i’m shy and i have no idea what to do or how to start. do people just go downtown, park at a random place, and go clubbing until they’re tired? are there any places where people can just walk in and chill? observe? Any bars that you can just sit at alone and just talk to the bartender? idk.
Sorry if this is dumb, but i’m really just bored of the way i live.
edit- To all the lovely people replying, it really means a lot. Im not afraid to converse, i just live under a rock ahahah. having a friend group is a thing that i’m not familiar with at all, but i want that to change. again, thank you so much for the help.
