A neighbor is baiting (putting rat poison) for feral cats. Inside city limits. Is there a process to report this? No evidence now.
We had 1 feral, a tom cat, that has been here for at least a year. He was fed by a few neighbors including myself. He was more homeless than feral, he was a nice cat.
He went missing about 2 weeks ago. After 3-4 days of not seeing him. I did file a report with the city. If he was in there I would have bailed him out IF he wasn't in an adoption program. But they never found him.
A neighbor tonight says he's been asking and found out 1 dude nearby put out rat poison. The guy who did it confirmed to the neighbor and said he buried the cat. It's a big f_ck fest. I hate living north side.
Does Houston have anything against baiting? Who does this get reported too?
He is a drug dealer. I can't have retaliation here.
At this point I'm unsure if there is any evidence. The dude who did it strangely has a kitten now.
There is 1 cat left here, an adolescent female cat that I can assist with medical. And she has a voucher to get fixed. If anyone can help foster. Concerned if she remains here. She's super cute and has become friendly.
