A friend of mine died at Astrowold yesterday

Just had to get this off my chest. I honestly don't know what to feel right now, I wasn't that close to her but it still feels raw since she was someone I knew. I'm not up to date on the specifics on how she died but I assume it was either suffocating in the crowd or getting trampled, neither of which are the best ways to go out.

The craziest part is she was only 16 years old, a junior in high school. She had hopes and dreams and aspirations, shoes she wanted to fill. She was on my schools "Redcoats" team (basically glorified cheerleaders, although we also have a cheer squad). She has a big family and lots of friends, I could tell she was going somewhere and to see that all taken away from her for no good reason is heartbreaking.

I want to remind everybody that even though it seems impossible, ANYTHING can happen to you. I never thought in a million years something like this would happen to me, that a friend of mine would be one of the 8 dead (at the time of writing this). Please, for yours's and your loved one's sakes, be careful when out at even the most mildest seeming events like a concert because you really can't know if something bad will happen, better safe than dead/critically injured.

Brianna, I hope you find peace wherever you are now and know we will always hold you in our hearts.
