A dozen or more sirens followed by what sounded like gunshots

I'm sitting in my house in Katy and hear sirens and vehicles for what sounds like ages but was more realistically a few minutes. Had to have been a dozen or more cars. 10 minutes later gunshots obviously in the distance. Anybody know what's going on?

*Edit – now helicopters circling. Close to 10 and 99/Cinco ranch area?
