Fruit Trees suggestion for Houston Climate

Had bad experience on planting few fruit trees which did not make it or were not best for Houston climate. I realized best is to go after native fruit tress as much as possible.

What fruit trees do you have and how much do they produce? also did they survive last few freeze events? fruit tree suggestions please. I have a very big acreage
