House of Blues VIP age restriction?

I'm taking my 18 yr old kid to a concert this weekend and decided to pay for a VIP table to get a better view. After I got the (non-refundable) receipt, it says the VIP tables are in a lounge area that is 21+. Does anyone know if they actually check IDs coming in/out of the lounge area? I wish the booking site would have mentioned this detail.
