nice/fun dinner places downtown

hey y’all so my family and i are currently in houston for a month-ish for a couple of reasons, and my dad and i wanted to go to dinner downtown. what places would you recommend? not very picky on food styles, and maybe a step above casual but no 5-star type restaurant lol (i can’t drink, so no bar recs)
