Acclaimed restaurateur Chris Shepherd fights for an industry in turmoil

Chris Shepherd said he’s down to fight. The acclaimed Houston restaurateur behind Underbelly Hospitality is fighting for patios at his restaurants, for those involved with selling his meals at H-E-B to get a cut of the profits, for growth opportunities at his concepts and for politicians to step up for the hospitality industry. Shepherd has seen losses and gains throughout Covid-19, and said he isn’t going to lose.
