Where can I buy a nice and funky gift for a friend?

I’m from the northeast and my friend asked me to get her some funny souvenirs of Texas. I’m wondering if anyone knows of any gift shops or funky stores in western Houston. West of the beltway or slightly inside. Maybe bunker hill area?
