Hillstone is not the same
Still missing Houston's restaurant after 5 years. I started eating there back in the mid 80s'. It was my favorite place to go. Just give me the Sunbelt Salad with the house dressing and cheese toast or the club sandwich and I was a happy girl. When it closed at the start of the pandemic I was literally beside myself. So, now I resort to Hillstone – somewhat of a dupe – with a limited menu that is no where as good. Yesterday, a cheeseburger with fries, a prime rib sandwich, spinach dip – which was mediocre at best – and two teas cost me 100.00 with tip.
