Any resources for elderly needing furniture?

Hello, wasn't sure where to post this, my elderly grandmother who is on hospice and I are moving into a house for rent tomorrow in zip 77051 Houston, which is great but income is very limited this month and no access to a vehicle. Are there any kind of resources that help get furniture for the elderly or anything of that nature? Thank you. She just needs something to sit on for the month comfortably
