Hole in the wall restaurant with cheap drinks and food??

Ok I know something like this has to exist somewhere downtownish or general Houston area but is there a cool hole in the wall restaurant that has cheap appetizer-y food + cheap alcohol and it’s good? Am I really asking for the impossible here? Multiple people have said no such place exists in Houston but I can’t believe it. Appreciate y’all!
