Metro Star Vanpool Abrupt Halt to Service

Vanpool rider from the ‘burbs to the city here. We got the attached email today telling us all Metro Star vanpool vehicles are out of service effective immediately. Even if you took a van/vehicle to work from your home, you aren’t allowed to drive it back to your home. Does anyone know what gives?? I suspect this is a funding (federal funding was cut?) or insurance/lease issue, but would love some hard news. People who rode a van to work were literally stranded at their offices today and told they are on their own for a ride home.
