Rude neighbors(repost)

I've lived here for 4 years now in 2 apartment complexes and a house. Each place had what i assumed to be a Mexican family that would give weird looks, then avoid eye contact when you look back. Never speak when I'm outside or wave. It's completely different from where I grew up and lived before. The other day my neighbors had fault over for a BBQ, I pull up to my house and they all just stare at my car with a sort of jealous/mocking face. It's a nice car but it's not like I'm pulling up in a Lambo. The hell is going on.
