For those of you who bought generators to prepare for hurricane season, could you please list how you decided which one to get?

If you wouldn’t mind, what kinds of devices you’re looking to power, if it’s inverted, runs on gas, propane, or is solar powered, and any issues you might have had in the past/things you wish you’d taken into account…thank you so much!!
