Dealing with a crazy land lord

I'm having an issue with mold in my current place. It's caused health issues that have progressively worsened and have landed me in the hospital recently. My land lady admitted on a phone call to me that the home had mold last summer and to my knowledge it doesn't seem she properly remediated it. All she said was that the molded area was removed and replaced? That doesn't even sound right. From what I know, mold has to be completely remediated as the spores can be invisible.

What can I do besides reporting her to the city? I've started having contact with a real estate attorney on this matter. At this point, I don't care about reimbursement for health care damages. I just want out of my lease and want to move out immediately, but she is trying to blame this on my roommate's "overusage" of the AC and act like the victim. My roommate lived in the place a year before I did, I've only recently moved in about 2 months ago. I don't feel safe in the home.
