What are you guys think about a scheme change for the defense from 3-4 to 4-3?

I look at our roster on defense and it would make sense. I mean since the Wilfork and Reader era are over, we really dont have a good NT. Watkins and Dunn are just not good enough. Watt could be great on the edge and even in the middle. A guy like Blacklock could really benefit from that change and guys like Greenard and Omenihu can play on the edge too. I would like Cunningham as MLB and Adams as our OLB.

Yeah we would have some empty spot, but we already have so it’s no big deal.

I mean the only guys that would be hurt by that change would probably be Mercilus and Martin but Mercilus is ass this year so who cares and I’m not the greatest Martin fans (although I think he got potential if he can put on some weight while keeping he’s speed).

So unless we draft some stud NT this year, which I doubt, I think it might be a great idea. A guy like Robert Saleh could assured that transition, cause if I’m not mistaken he coach a 4-3 defense. We could keep Tim Kelly as OC.
