Unemployment claims filed by Texas workers decrease week-over-week
The number of unemployment claims filed by Texas workers decreased last week, according to new data.
Texans filed 23,189 first-time unemployment insurance claims during the week ended Nov. 28, the U.S. Labor Department announced Dec. 3. That’s a decrease of nearly 16,000 jobless claims from the week prior, when Texas workers filed 38,915 claims.
