What’s up with the METRO drivers?

Why does it seem like every metro bus driver has their own routes? One bus driver will take the HOV while the next day- a different driver will take ONLY THE FEEDER ROADS. Why am I on a bus that should take me 45 minutes to get back to the station when they’re taking their sweet time at all of the lights on the feeders and making the trip into an hour and a half?!?! This is actually dumb on all of the drivers parts and their supervisors. People have jobs and 30-45 minutes off can really throw off an entire schedule.
