About to be single in Houston and looking for a place. Should I get a second job?

I'm about to be single for the first time in 14 years and haven't had to go alone in a good while. I don't make great money and want to know my fellow Houstonian's thoughts.

I bring in about 2.8-3.4k a month after taxes and insurance and such. Probably looking to move north, somewhere near Spring, to be close to my job. Quick breakdown of monthly essentials:

$400 car payment but I pay a little over and can trim that down to $328 if I have to.

$150 Auto Insurance

$50 for cell

$300-350 groceries

$80 for gas, from where I currently live.

$240 for my terrible vaping habit.

The rest would be budgeting for bills and possible rent. I don't want to have to go back to rough neighborhoods but know I can't afford the good life either. Somewhere in the middle, hopefully. Do you think I need a second job or can I do this? Thoughts/advice?
