Resources for a stray cat

Yesterday I found a cat in the middle of the feeder road and scooped him up before he got hit. He’s a little beat up and very skinny. Despite it all, he’s the sweetest cat I’ve met and seems very socialized. I’m going to take him to a vet later today to get him checked out and healthy. However, he’s currently staying in my garage as my 2 dogs and female cat have never been introduced to another cat before.

It’s not ideal for me to keep him (though the animal lover in me wants him) – what are good resources in the city to get him cleaned up and find a good home? I filled out an application for Friends For Life already.
