High Humidity in house – Any ever sealed their house with close cell foam?

Have high humidity in my pier and beam 100 year old bungalow. Was told that if I spray close cell foam in attic and underneath the floor it would effectively seal my house and control my humidity and make it a more appropriate measurement. Anyone had success doing this in Houston?
