Just wanted to give a shout out and a huge commendation to Memorial Hermann medical center.
This is just a post basically just to recommend and comment the memorial Hermann Hospital in the medical center. My husband has been sick for a little over a week now. At first we thought it was kidney stones, so we were home remedying for that. As he started to get sicker and not better, first a friend of ours took him to Saint Joseph’s. There, it felt like we were being rushed out and they really didn’t do much of anything nor did they have a particularly caring or interested bedside manner. After just been given some IV fluids and sent home, he continued to get worse. So Friday we went to the ER at Memorial Hermann. Since then, every single staff member that we’ve interacted with at Memorial Hermann has been awesome in someway. The doctors and nurses have all given him the attention that I feel he’s needed, they’ve done everything I possibly can to try to figure out what’s wrong. And even though they’re still not sure, they’ve been treating him for all the stuff that it could be and he started to show improvement. Every staff member from the doctors to the receptionist to the nurses has been so comforting and informative with me. When he’s gone into surgery, I’ve received regular text message updates every 30 minutes and his nurses have started calling me at night before I go to bed to let me know how he’s doing. I know the hospitals and hospital workers are incredibly overworked, overburdened, and stressed during this time of pandemic so the fact that they have all been so attentive to him and and open and available to me really means a lot. I highly recommend that hospital to anyone needing medical care.
