Retail roundup: River Oaks Bookstore closes, two art installations to open

Two art installations will open in the next several months, and a notable local bookstore closed, in the latest Houston retail news. 

River Oaks Bookstore at 3270 Westheimer Road will close at the end of 2020. Employee Whitney Andrews Corson announced the closure on Facebook, which was then shared by the store. The bookstore had been in business for 47 years.
