planning a trip to kemah, texas. any tips?

hi, my and my boyfriend will be staying in kemah, texas for 3 nights, any tips on what to do besides the boardwalk? he doesn’t really like rides. we can also drive out to towns close by if need be. just needing some help with my itinerary. possibly want to see downtown houston also, but i’m not sure how far it is away. thought seeing nasa would be cool also.
