Be weary Houston, people cannot hold accountability for their actions and will pull a gun as quick as possible. Cowards will be cowards and police refused to do anything.

Hello everybody, my name is Jason and I own an operate Catillian Automotive. I’ve worked on many of your cars and I have a good relationship with Houstonian Redditors.

Today at approximately 5:30 PM, me and my wife attempted to turn into my father’s property to feed his chickens. This gentleman was speeding behind me and while my truck was halfway into our driveway, he slammed into my quarter panel.

Immediately upon exiting the vehicle to question him, he got aggressive and started to become belligerent. He ended up leaving the scene, so we followed him down the street to his apartment complex where he ran inside like a bitch and grabbed and came outside.

Seeing he had something in his waistband, both me and my wife were armed with our own handguns, but decided not to use it and to try to de-escalate the situation. This man pointed a gun at my wife’s head and my head as well. I didn’t stand down and I got face-to-face, even with a gun pointed right into my head with this gentleman. When police arrived, they were unable to locate my dash cam footage, proving he had a gun, and instead tried to make it seem as if I was the one who instigated with firearms, which merely was not true at all. I never branded a firearm even when he pulled his out.

After the investigation, we learned he’s on parole and more than likely hit the gun somewhere within the apartment complex to avoid being caught with it and having his parole violated.

Watch out for this man it drives a brown/silver Chevrolet Impala around 2008, the front end is totaled.

I’m making this post tonight in an effort to Warren Houston, drivers even and minor simple accidents that should be able to be resolved quickly and easily can end up turning into something like this. My wife has been shot before and I’m a Marine.

The only reason we followed him to his apartment is because we figured he was committing a hit-and-run, and was trying to flee the scene. We learned from officers he had no insurance also.

Please be careful out there and understand there’s a lot of cowards in this world who feel brave with a gun. Even with my training and a gun holster in my waist, I still didn’t brand the s**t out towards him.
