Thoughts on Fairmont Museum District

We currently live in Houston and are looking for a new place. Fairmont Museum District (FMD) is at the top of our list but we'd like to know more information on a couple of details. If you've lived there or are currently living there, we'd love your input and advice.

1. It looks like there's been some complaint about noise from the streets and neighborhoods, how serious is this problem? I am a light sleeper and often will be kept awake by folks moving around or traffic noise. Want to avoid this as much as possible. How does the building fare?
2. Compared to some other complexes, FMD feels a lot easier to access. Have there been any issues with security (eg. burglary, car-jacking, non-residents entering premises) on the property? What is the main thing we should be concerned about in terms of safety.
3. Do you feel safe walking around the area at night?
4. How has the experience of choosing your utility providers at this property been?
5. Does the property have backup generators in case of extreme weather events? How did it do during hurricanes and the freeze?
