How bad ia traffic over Christmas

Me and my family are going to eat out for Christmas in an area thats on the oppisite side for us. Just wondering cuz I have no idea when people come over to hang with their families lol my closest relatives other than my mom and dad live in Nevada-Cali border so we usually don't travel
