Lake House at Discovery Green

Ok question: I’m new to Houston and I’ve been to Discovery Green twice to play Pokémon Go. Both times that I’ve been, was on a weekend and both times the restaurant was closed but when I googled, it should be open. Is it because there’s a lot of people there on the weekends? I’m going back but this time it will be on a weekday, hopefully the restaurant will be open. I really wanna try it instead of going to Pappadeaux for a third time lol I just wanted to know if any of you all experienced the restaurant being closed on the weekends.
