Does anyone remember the boat restraurant that was on Katy freeway back in the 1980s?

My first job when we moved to houston was working at an office building on North Loop West. My dad would pick me up in the late evening and we would head to our home in Spring Branch. I remember there being a really good smell by the North Loop , my dad said it was a bakery or something . I guess it's going because the smell is gone. Coming down Katy freeway heading West , on the right side we passed a big ship restraurant ever evening that looked reallly weird as you could see the people sitting at the tables. It just looked kinda weird to me. This was back in 1987 and it's obvious been gone for decades. Does anyone remember this place?
