Safe to park offsite for Sunday night game?

Hi Texans fans! I am looking for parking option for Sunday night game and find that offsite parking( in the south of NRG; right off I610) is cheapest. I am okay with walking distance but my only concern is that if it is safe to walk from NRG back to parking site after game at night. Went to a day game before and parked in the same area and I can tell that that’s not a great neighborhood.
