premises liability attorney

Hello. I’m not aware of any attorneys here in Houston to help me. I’m not sure if this is the right lawyer to look for, but if anybody can help me. I lost my mother in 2022 from a murder-suicide. She was involved in a domestic violence relationship. The dude who killed my mother also had a criminal record, but was still out on the streets. She even had a restraining order against him. She was staying at a luxury apartment complex near Summerwood. Nobody called the cops after hearing my mother scream and hearing the sound of the gunshots. The patrol there didn’t even check. My mother could’ve survived. She was dead for at least 3 hours. Would this be a case?
