Texans Vs. Titans Takeaways : Negatives

This one was simultaneously the most painful and most entertaining game this season 😔 lets go ahead and get these over with

FRONT 7- Everybody but JJ and PJ Hall have huge shares of blame in this. For the love of god please never let Brennan Scarlett get another snap at OLB again. Mercilus is washed , and nobody else on our line can even sniff beating a block and / or making a tackle. CUNNINGHAM you have to do better man you’re supposed to be the star LB yet you whiffed on multiple tackles, Ik he has been making up for mistakes of the other guys the past 5 weeks but he flat out played bad today.

Secondary- Anybody not named Roby must be called to the square. Lonnie played solid at times but he has to cut down on his holding/ PIs Reid is a very very very great tackler but his man coverage is questionable. Hargreaves is cheeks and Gaines is fertilizer. Plz let John Reid play at some point we need to see what we have.

Deandre Carter- He didn’t do anything today but that’s the problem , he does nothing. All he does is get to the 25 no matter where he catches the ball and fumble like 2-4 times a season ( bonus if it’s an important game 😃)

David Johnson – I will say he has actually been solid and a lot of people are giving him flack he doesn’t deserve, HOWEVER the offensive line blocked well enough today for him to do better in the run game than he did. He gets a slight pass because he blocked very well for Deshaun tho.

TLDR: anybody not named Roby, JJ, Hall, or Reid ( kinda ) on defense Lonnie actually played kinda solid too Extra emphasis on Scarlett and Mercilus David Johnson ( he blocked good tho )
