Thoughts on whether i should appeal this parking citation & tow

The other night my car was towed from one of the neighborhoods near washington st. The place I parked on had no visible sign that said i could not park there. One side of the block that had no signs, but however looking later in the morning I saw all the way down on the other end of the block there is a sign that says "no parking on this entire block". See the 3 pictures attached. pic 1 is the street, and where i parked is marked in blue. no signs there. pic 2 is the sign saying no parking at the end of the block of that same street. and pic 3 is how every other no park spot on nearby street in the neighborhood are marked .
