Fans Don’t Let Fans Sell Tickets To Non-Texans Fans

Hi there, season ticket holder since year two here. My game-attending cohorts and I have noticed a trend that began during the end of the O’Brien era, but has gained momentum instead of slowing. That trend, of course, is PSL owners selling their tickets en masse, and especially to the visiting team’s fanbase.

This isn’t 2020-2022 anymore. This team is a viable contender for the playoffs and very well might be at the precipice of (dare I say?) a dynasty. We, the Houston fanbase, got what we wanted: an exciting, imperfect team to call our own, a defense that’s getting better, and a franchise QB that we can be proud of. So I’m trying to figure out why SO MANY season ticket holders are consistently putting their tickets up for sale instead of attending or selling their tickets to other Texans fans.

The sheer number of away team fans are becoming an issue for our HOME team. Why in tf should CJ ever have to go to a silent count IN NRG?!?! Because there are so many visiting fans that they can make enough noise to make it needed. The Bills Mafia travels well, and I fully expect their numbers to be felt throughout the game on Sunday.

So what am I asking you (YES, YOU) to do about it? If you own tickets and can’t come, sell them to other Texans fans. Don’t own tickets, but know someone who does? Ask them to do what I’m asking… no, pleading for them to do: sell the tickets to home team fans.

I’ll continue to be a courteous to visitors, as that is the Texas Way, but I certainly hope there are fewer of them in the future.

Join me on my quest not ensure our team an actual home field advantage.
