How does HPD completely ignore Washington Ave at night?

I live where I can see the Washington ave strip and its so incredibly wild. Theres fights, gunshots, and complete chaos with cars burning out, doing idiotic s**t. I sit and watch lots of nights because its incredibly entertaining but makes you wonder why are there no cops patroling this epicenter of chaos? Blows my mind
