HFCU “upgraded” my checking account and added $6 monthly fee

Just a heads up if you bank with Houston Federal Credit Union. I received this letter from HFCU saying I will be automatically upgraded to a 360 secure checking account and will be charged a $6 monthly fee. I called and they said the account will change in October but no payment will be needed until December. Also the only way to opt out of this and go back to a free checking account is to 1) wait until October and call them or 2) go in to the bank and opt out in person.
