Meteor Shower tonight, best place to view?

Hoping to catch the Perseid meteor shower tonight. Most past posts suggest George Observatory but it’s currently closed along with Brazos State Park for Hurricane Beryl cleanup.

Anywhere specific that’s safe to park since it’ll obviously have to be somewhere very dark/remote?

Willing to go about an hour out of the city if that helps.
