Former Las Alamedes Mexican restaurant off I 10 near Bunker Hill

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary there almost 35 years ago. It was torn down a number of years ago and the land has been sitting vacant. Recently, there has been activity and it seems perhaps they are going to build something? Anyone know?
